The following artifacts reflect lessons and team meetings relative to student achievement and development of the PLC.
Decodable Book routine lesson used during explicit, direct instruction with Tier III students at lunchtime for 30 minutes.
Bi-Monthly PLC meeting notes documenting what we accomplished during our meeting and our next steps. Roles were always rotated to build capacity for all team members.
Basic Phonics Skills Test - This gave us a snapshot of the literacy stage students were at relative to their phonological awareness.
Primary Spelling Inventory - This reflects what the students are able to achieve relative to their encoding skills.
High Frequency Word Test (300 words) - This reflects what high frequency words the students know and what they need to know.
Houghton Mifflin Phonics/Decoding Screening Test - This test is detailed relative to the phonics patterns that students need to know in order to become successful readers.
Regularly scheduled PLC meeting in which student data is being discussed and analyzed and decisions being made as to how to proceed.
Weekly Attitude of Gratitude in which a team member is commenting on the cohesiveness of our grade level team.
